Dr. Dre - I Need A Doctor (Explicit) ft. Eminem, Skylar Grey

Here we have an amazing track, meeting amazin lyricl colliding with intense emotions making the perfect song. Eminem spills his guts representing a friend to and fan of Dr. Dre saying what only he could say. Dre get busy. Hip Hop has shown that a dedication can truly embody any form when the creator is imaginative and here is a good example. This is dirty so excuse the language. I hope this is just a highlight on the most anticipated album in history.

I have to admit it, I've never really praised Dre publicly. By publicly I mean at the gym in between sets, or sitting on the smoke deck during my Naval career! That said, I didn't need to because his projects dwarfed the East Coast's efforts in terms of sales - DR was a numbers juggernaut. Nor am I belittling Em's presence on this song, but I just could've taken the track and Skylar's vocals and been wildly pleased. Maybe I need a doc right now, but her voice's emotional quality is triggering something in a brother with her last couple of outings. Not many artists can get the green-light on the vid's budget and running time, but it's exceptional too. Flat out... one of my favorite big time D-1 cuts right now.

I like the D-1 referrence you almost have to look at the game like that now. There are so many tiers, layers and levels to it that real fans like are forced to delineate between them. You can't truly compare a megastar like Jay or Kanye to someone like Dee-1 or Oddisee the expectations aren't the same the drive or parameters that they operate under aren't the same. That Skylar Grey does have me checking for her like she is the next. Their is a distinct quality to her voice a mix of urgency, angst and purity.
